One Picture Everyday
A personal quest to take one picture every day, and write at least 100 words for an entire year.
What Am I Doing Here?
This is my attempt to take one picture every day for an entire year. So far, so good . . . .

Webkinz family portrait. For fun, I planned with the children to gather all of their Webkinz for a family shot. I had to use my kit lens for the wide shot and used a long exposure to keep the light 'natural'. The goal was to make sure that the kids could pick out all of the individual dolls. There are more than 60 Webkinz and maybe 10 Zums in this shot - I was told that after we tore down the scene, someone found a Webkinz that didn't make the shot.
Well, That's it! One whole year of taking pictures every day! I believe I missed maybe 10 days overall, so I'm not too disappointed! Guess I'll have to make a new resolution for 2011 . . . .

The snow melted, and I poked my head out the patio door to snap a few shots of the patio. There was a pretty monochromatic view with all the dead foliage, so I snapped a few just for fun. I was able to rescue some pretty drab-looking photos in Lightroom, and this turned out to be my favorite.

Reece got a disco globe for Christmas - now the kids can have dance parties in the basement. We've been hearing the same Black Eyed Peas song play for a while, but its too cute to see this and the black light going in the basement.

Rachel got a s'more maker for Christmas, and made dessert for everyone. As part of her gift she received chocolate graham crackers, strawberry marshmallows, and Hershey's chocolate. The best s'mores you can get!

This was on the refrigerator for a week while I overlooked it! To be fair, it was at the bottom of the door, and the word was oddly split. I did notice the 'Mery Chris' before, but only when the door was opened.
