Today is our 16th wedding anniversary - Jenny and I went to the La Chatelaine Bakery for a bit of breakfast.  It's French and relatively cheap (for French); you have to get a beignet when you go . . .

Today, a  picture of the old camera from the new.  It's a  Minolta Z1 3.2M 10x zoom.  It's claim to fame was the fact that it was the first camera to use 60 fps for the live view.

Of course, I took this with the new Pentax Kx.  I used a 50m manual focus lens, hand-held, and no flash!!

The new camera is here!!
It's a Pentax K-x w/18-55 kit lens and 55-300 'other' kit lens.
Of course, I didn't have time today to play with it much.
And I'm waiting on the flash unit and smc-A 50mm f/1.7 prime lens to come in . . .
