Being Mother's Day, I wasn't about to spend too much time taking pictures. We had a nice little cookout on the back porch, and I snapped a few pictures of the trees in our back yard.  Usually, there's an army of squirrels out there hopping about, but it seems to be their day off . . .

For Jenny's birthday, I made her a German's chocolate cake from scratch.  It wasn't as near as rich as the tres leche cake, but was really good!!!
