There's a chipmunk roaming the neighborhood, munching on the pumpkins on the front porch. The kids found some gourds at Lynd's Fruit Farm - seemed like a perfect match!
First try at tilt shift via Photoshop. I had a few throwaway shots, and the effect was pretty easy to execute. I'll have to keep at it to get a picture I really like.
This was an experiment with a homemade aperture filter. I made a little cap out of black construction paper, and made a filter with a small heart in it. The effect, while a bit crude, actually worked. The light source was a string of Xmas lights.
After dusting and searching, we found and assembled a whole bunch of remote controls. In the case of a zombie apocalypse, we'll have something to throw at them!
