What Am I Doing Here?
This is my attempt to take one picture every day for an entire year. So far, so good . . . .

This is probably the sweetest picture I've taken in a long time! It took a bit of doing to get the duck to tilt its head at just the right angle, but I really love the emotion of it. And of course, there's a baby head in a jar.

Another last minute shot. I sat in a dark room and exposed for the candle light. The overall effect was quite nice - I tried manipulating as a black and white, but i wasn't as happy with the results.

When we took the kids to see the fireworks, I had quite woefully left my SD card in my laptop. I didn't realize my mistake until I got to the event. I started taking pictures of the kids rolling down the hill and received the dreaded 'No Card in the Camera.' My youngest let me borrow his card, so I tried to maximize the 1 gig of space he had. On his camera, he had some 200 pictures left. On mine, around 35.

Vim: . . . And how many f**kin' wild cows have you seen recently?
Colin: And how many cows have you seen sitting next to the fire, nestling over slippers, Alan? Not a lot! Probably about none, I think, is probably the amount you've seen . . . Oh, go and fetch the paper from the newsagent's, DAISY!
