November 4, 2010

It was late, and I liked the colors here.  I've been playing with Lightroom 3, and I'm liking the results.  Sharpening effects are easier (I think) in Photoshop, but I can go through a lot of settings pretty quickly.

I love my polarizing lens!  I took these at work, walking around the parking lot.  Just looked straight up with my kit lens set wide.

November 2, 2010

This is a long exposure shot.  Rachel and I were waiting to pick up a pizza after her appointment, so on the way home we pulled over and took some pictures of the traffic on Cherry Bottom Rd.

This shot was fun - I set up my camera and tripod up on my back seat.  I had a wide-angle lens(.45x) from my Minolta Z1 attached, and set my kit lens to wide (18mm).  Of course, distortion and CA are rampant here, but I got a fun set of pointless pictures out of this little experiment.

It's not much, I'd hate to admit.  But that's what I get when I wait 'til the last minute to take my pictures!

October 29, 2010

I had to run to the hardware store a bit late one night, and on the way home, I took a picture of the street completely void of traffic.
