What Am I Doing Here?

This is my attempt to take one picture every day for an entire year. So far, so good . . . .

I like this shot, even though it's a little dark.  Reece was doing his homework, and in a fit, scrambled all the letters together.  Then, he managed to spell out all of the colors from the mess.  (He did correct 'orange' by himself, by the way . . .)

Nothing special here - just a stove top!  It was another day in which I decided at the end of the day to get a photograph!

Today was the 21st anniversary of the day my wife and I met.  Our children made us homemade cards, and they both were wonderful.  So for today, I have two pictures of the day.

Torture trykes - remember to lean forward when you ride them.  It's also important to keep your knees out a bit.  If you have long legs, you're gonna bang those knees!

It may be time to get some new brakes - I've been playing with a 0.45x wide converter on my kit lens at 18mm.  It adds some really fun distortion and purple fringing that the kit lens can usually suppress.

I took some very, very bad pictures of my little deceased baby doll.  Those I'll post on my website later on. In the meantime, this little bear will say a prayer on my behalf.

I'm not sure if this was an alien mushroom or the remnants of a nut.  Reece and I were taking a long walk, looking for unusual things to photograph.  Last time, I forgot my card.  This time, he forgot to charge his batteries.

Jenny has a rather cool, quasi-metro toaster that seemed to need to have its picture taken.
