I'm thinking that cranes don't like to be photographed.  They certainly don't like being approached any closer than 100 feet.  I had my 55-300 mm lens chasing this guy around a couple of ponds in Dublin.

I am always on the lookout for flowers in bloom.  I laid under a bunch of black-eyed-susans and took some pictures.  These were taken at the  new playground in north Westerville.

There was a nice arrangement of flowers, and my 50mm lives on my camera, so it seemed like the right thing to do.  I had to shoot low to get the sky and keep the low-flying building out.

Dessert from Father's Day.  Jenny made a perfect cheesecake with a choice of strawberry or chocolate toppings, both made from scratch.  Very nice separately, but amazing together!

A bit of a Father's Day dinner - chicken divan, corn on the cob, fresh green beans, and a bit of garlic bread.  For dessert, cheesecake!  I love my family!

Spent the day at the Creekside Jazzfest with the family and a family friend.  I was a really nice day (except for the crushing heat that got you when you stepped out of the shade.)  I took some pictures of the waterfall by those overpriced condos.

Had the fire pit going to kick off the weekend. The kids have a recipe for the best s'mores in the world - chocolate graham crackers and strawberry marshmallows!  Best way to get a sugar fix!
